NUMBER ONE FAN

I had Kev snap this photo right before we headed into the House of Blues to see The Cool Kids recently. I was a bit ticked off at the fact that the ticket said “no cameras” were allowed, and once we got in and were in THE FRONT ROW, I could’ve been snappin’ away! lol But watevs..

Stuntin is a Habit

This past Friday,
Rebecca {the Studio Services Manager at CLD} asked me to join her to assist her at a photo shoot for the upcoming girl group, The Stunners!
I helped her out at the fitting for the girls earlier in the week, adding an extra bit of pizazz when it came to putting together the looks.

On the day of the shoot, hair && make-up was a timely task,
yet the girls looked....well, STUNNING! lol
We did a "movement look" where the girls were rocking black & gold,
{BTW: they are AMAZING dancers! :)}
another look where all of the girls were shot in black&white,
and in the last look, we did a dressing room scene where the ladies were causing a rukus with make-up, shoes and clothes thrown about.
I had a blast being on the other side of the camera.
The girls were gorgeous && were far from having the diva-tudes
that many people get when the fame hits them.
This fab 5 assemblage of young ladies range from ages 16-19.
Although they have very diverse personalities,
their love for music is what they have in common.
I can't wait until their EP comes out, && I'm looking forward to working with them again.
I'm really loving the whole stylist shin-dig,
and CAN'T wait to see what my next assignment will be :)

P.S!!!:: Check out THE STUNNERS on Myspace!!!!!

New New

I'm not sure if it's the excruciating heat or just the idea of starting over,
but I've been feeling in need of a dramatic change.
With school starting very soon, I started revisiting those antsy emotions of
inventing a new look for myself.
I'd normally express my creativity in developing a new look through shopping,
searching for chic pieces for the season that will set me apart from the typical.
HOWEVER...
Due to the fact that my funds are at an all-time low,
I have to compensate for my re-invention in some other way lol.
Soooooo, I think I'm going to chop off my hair.
{well, what's left of it}

In all actuality, my hair has been short since I began college.
But now that I'm going into my 3rd year, I'm feeling like my style needs to flourish a bit,
and what better way to start the year off!

I HATE when people compare my look to Kelis, Rihanna or Keri Hilson.
Although it's a compliment, I like having a distinct look of my own.
I've been browsing over different looks online &&
I'm going to mix 'n match different aspects to make it scream "K A M E R O N!!!!"
And I guess having pink hair automatically causes me to be separated from the norm lol

Upon a recent trip to my FAVORITE vintage store in L.A., I found these “jazzy” swimming trunks! Yes, they’re from the men’s section, but I couldn’t resist them. Maybe it was the little blue saxophones that intrigued me. Whatever the case, they were only 8 bucks! :)

Double the pleasure double the fun

Two Saturdays in a row, full of pure fabulousness! {is that even a word? lol}

Last Saturday was the Major Hype event "SPAZ" that I told you all about.
I was headlining the event with the fellas && had my very own fashion show.
I was already stressed out due to the fact that I felt like I didn't have enough models,
then to top that off, I had one model after another flake on me!
So at the very last minute, I had to ask a few of my fabulous friends to be in the show.
Even Kevin found a model for me while he was at the mall,
and she turned out to be PHENOMENAL!
After arriving at the venue, I did a few last minute fittings and a rehearsal, and we partied the night away until I was given the signal to start the show.
We were supposed to go on at 11:30ish, yet we pushed things back to 12:30
to make sure that it was a packed house.
One model clearly had her own agenda, constantly asking me if she could leave and come back.
I let her know I'll be dressing the models at 12 and I didn't see her for the rest of the night!
I even asked a girl in the audience if she'd like to model, but she was too nervous.
In spite of flakey people, the show was the highlight of the night!!!

Yesterday, I had my very own photo shoot for my line, Kooley Designs!
Delia, a make-up artist that I met through my designer friend Amanda Daniels,
asked me if I'd like to be the wardrobe stylist for a photo shoot that she was working on
for Exclusive Entertainment.
I couldn't help but accept the chance to get some
dope photos with some gorgeous girls in my designs.
Everything from the hair to the make-up, and of course the clothes, were perfect!
Britini, Kristy, Shahde, Allyssa and Cristina
all know how to work the camera quite well.
I won't receive the photos for another couple of weeks, but it'll be worth the wait :)

Crazy in LOVE

I love being busy!
This past week has been BANANAS!

Thursday was an extremely long day.
At my internship at CLD, I thought I was just going to do the typical task of pulling for a photo shoot when to my surprise, I got to style it!!!
The shoot was for Chic Little Devil's Ebay site,
where they sell amazing designer pieces for an even more flattering price.
The photos turned out to be pretty darn good! {I'll post them asap}

Later that day, a selected few interns {including yours truly} were granted the opportunity to help out at designer Jared Gold's fashion show at Hollywood's club, Social.
The list of famed folks was extremely long, to the point where I'm sure if I named everyone I spotted, I'd still be short a few names. lol
But off the top of my head, Jerell Scott, Sweet P, Kit Pistol, and Nick Verreos
of Project Runway were present as well as
Anna Lynne McCord of 90210, Audrey Kitching, and Tarina Tarintino!
Although us interns helped with the entire set-up of the event, I'm a bit relieved that I didn't have to be part of the mayhem of quick-changes during the show.
Thankfully, I managed to snag a spot right in front to snap some unforgettable pics! :)
